Just like your family, the Axis Church family couldn't get along without our volunteers. The weekly services & special events can only take place because of the dedication and effort of our volunteers.
Quite often someone will say "I don't have anything to offer" when asked about volunteering. The fact is, there are so many different ways to help serve that everyone has a gift that will benefit others.
Opportunities to serve include:
Worship - playing a musical instrument or singing on Sunday morning
Welcome Center/Greeters - a warm friendly smile and welcoming attitude are all that is needed!
Tech - no experience required! Just an interest in helping out & learning to work with the audio/video/media on Sunday morning.
Set Up/Tear Down - helping to set up & take down chairs, fixtures, tables, etc.
Outreach - focused on finding & implementing community service/involvement opportunities.
Family Ministries - Nursury, Preschool, Children, and Jr. High/High School student involvement.
Prayer - a critical role of dedicated prayer for those who are suffering, in need, and for the vision of Axis Church to follow God's direction.
