Lost.Lonely?
Skeptical, lost, lonely, unsure? Feel like there is something better out there, like there is something missing.
Does life seem empty, disappointing, unfulfilling.
Face it, life can really seem to stink out loud! Bad things happen...to all of us. Nobody makes it thru life being all sunshine & roses. Doesn't really matter who we are, at some time we all have very crappy stuff hit us, sometimes like a ton of bricks. That's the reality.
Yeah, I know where you are coming from. For Real! Maybe not the exact same circumstances... In fact, what I had in my life would probably make you feel good about your own junk.
Scared out of your mind, crying out for something -- someone -- to PLEASE just make the pain go away....
Is it really possible to put an end to it??
I didn't think so. Yeah sure, I grew up going to church, being told the same things most of us heard. Live your life right, do good things, so that God won't punish us for being bad. All that freaking guilt. Who needs it?!! And what good did it do anyway?
For me, it took hitting absolute bottom before starting to figure it out. Ok, my bad. It took the thought of killing myself before realizing that was worse than looking at other options. At least that was what little bit of hope I had to cling to.
Long story short (ok, not quite so short) I finally started to open up to the idea that there really was something better but it was going to take ME being willing to listen, learn, & do a lot of uncomfortable things.
Most important, I had to get to know someone willing to give it all to help save me from myself. HE was there all along.... I just had to realize it.
So, here you are.....skeptical, lost, lonely, unsure
